‘The King who Loved his Subjects’ King Se-jong
King Se-jong is a king among kings in Korean history. With a majestic personality, King Se-jong served his subjects all his life. King Se-jong left a strong imprint in all areas including science, national defense, agriculture, and music. His greatest accomplishment is, however, inventing the written Korean language.
What would our lives be like without the korean language?
We would have to learn difficult Chinese characters and our culture would have developed much less than that of other countries. We should teach our children to appreciate the importance of the Korean language and its proper usage.
King Se-jong´s love for his subjects helped him become a great leader. The creation of the Korean language can also be attributed
